APEX ReMix IS COMING TO OUR SCHOOL March 23 - April 1st!!!

We are so excited to tell you about our major fundraiser this Spring, the Apex Leadership Program!

Apex is a local company that will be in the classrooms virtually for 2 weeks teaching our students about leadership and fitness. Each day students will become MIGHTY! (Mindful, Integrity, Grit, Hero, Think Ahead, Your Turn!)

We will kick off the event with a Virtual Pep Rally on March 23rd to introduce the program and tell the kids how it will work this year.

Leading up to the event, students will be challenged to get pledges for the fitness moves they will perform on April 1st. Funds raised will be used to pay for Teacher Grants, Staff Appreciation goodies, Student Events, and Classroom and STEM supplies.

10% off the funds will go directly to your student's teacher to use for their classrooms.

Our donation collections will all be done online through the APEX website, www.myapexevent.com to make the collection process easier and faster. Of course, sponsors can still pay by cash/check if they choose, we just ask that these donations be turned into the school any time before the April 1st event, so that students receive credit.

On March 23rd, students will be bringing home or parents will be picking up their pledge kits that will include their unique Access Codes to log pledges online, their Leadership wristbands, and their APEX T-shirt to wear the day of the event.

Event donations are eligible for Company Matching directly on the APEX website this year. (See below)

  1. 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱: Log onto the MyApexEvent.com website using your student’s unique ACCESS CODE. The access code is in your Pledge Kit which was sent home with In-Person learners yesterday (or for VIRTUAL learners was in the packet that was available for pick-up yesterday, 3/23).

If you do not have your Pledge Kit and Access Code, you can reach out to your teacher for the Access Code.

  1. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: Simply click the “Enter Pledge” button on your student’s donation page to make a $ pledge per Fitness Move or any flat donation amount.

❗❗IMPORTANT❗❗ For families with virtual learners: Due to the challenges of collecting event results from students taking part at home, a default of 36 Fitness Moves will be entered for each student. If your student’s actual is less than that, please notify us after the event and it will be edited.

  1. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 & 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀: Invite family and friends to donate online using the “Share Wizard” feature. Send a link via SMS text, email, and social media.

  1. 𝗕𝗲 𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿: On Thursday, Apr. 1, encourage your student to do their best at our REMIX Fitness event. It’s going to be a LOT of fun!

If you are unable to donate or reach out to others this year, that’s OK!  Please encourage your kids to embrace those leadership lessons, wear their Free APEX T-shirt on April 1st, and participate in the ReMix event.

Prizes will be sent home each day as your student gets Pledges.

VIRTUAL families can pick up their prizes at school on March 26th from 3:30 - 6:00pm and again on April 1st from 3:30 - 6:00pm.

The day of the ReMIX event is April 1st.  This will be a virtual event that will happen WITHIN their CLASS.  Instead of running laps, the students will be performing FUN fitness moves in class or at home with their class. WEAR YOUR APEX TSHIRTS

And wrapping up the event, we will celebrate our successes and hand out awards to the kids on April 1st!
